Left handed lady looking to buy set of clubs to learn how to golf with.?

I've been to the driving range once. I found an inexpensive set of really cute 'hope' clubs. I like them because they benefit cancer (plus they're pink!) they're about $200 for the whole set plus bag, so I can't imagine them to be great clubs...but does it really matter at this level?

There are different theories to buying clubs, you can either buy really cheap clubs, most of which are inconsistent throughout the bag (your 5iron might go just as long as your 8iron). But just to learn it wont be a problem. If you decide that you are really into golf, you will probably get another set when you get "better". So it really comes down to how serious you are about playing. If you think this is a long term deal, you should just buy the expensive set and you can get used to them and not have to change feelwise. On top of that you will not have to waste that extra $200 dollars on the "beginner" set. But if money isnt an issue and you still arent sure about the game, you should go with the $200 set and if you like it upgrade later in your career
